Celebrating the win of good over evil or light over darkness, Diwali is celebrated in India and Hindu communities around the world. We'll learn about the traditions of the festival and make our own artworks to celebrate. Rangoli is a folk art from India in which patterns are created on the floor using rice, flour, seed, and sand during Diwali celebrations. We will be making our own Rangoli inspired artworks using natural materials. Diyas or pinch pots are used to hold candles or oil. We'll sculpt and decorate our own.

In an ode to all things fruits, this workshop focuses on the diversity of fruits and their significance in the Jewish tradition.
In an artful take on the Tu B’shvat Seder, participants are invited to tate a variety of fruits, enjoy 4 cups of wine (or juice) and paint a still life masterpiece.
